Next HPAC Meeting Wed., May 27, 6:30-7:30pm via Zoom

So happy to have the unofficial kick off to summer behind us, and looking forward to more sunny weather this week! To give everyone more time outside, we will be meeting online this week, find the Zoom link below.

Please bring any public safety concerns to share, we will try to have an SPD staff person logged on. We will also be attending the SW Police Advisory Council meeting on Thursday May 28th and can pass on your comments there. The SWPAC meeting welcomes all, in case you are interested in attending yourself- look for details below. The main topic for the evening will be FIFA preparations, particularly any focused on the West Seattle area.

We have been working on a clear response to the SDOT Highland Park Way SW Connection Project and will share out our approach and our letter of concern to City leadership.

We have also been closely tracking the likely impacts of Mayor Wilson’s increase in Tiny Home capacity, so far we see 3 new actions happening here or closeby: the Glassyards Commons RV Lot and Tiny House Village (72 RV spaces & 20 houses), the Cloverleaf Tiny House Village (90 houses), plus the possible expansion to 250 houses (now 66) of the Camp Second Chance Village.

Look forward to seeing folks online – use this link to join us:
