Other Area Happenings:
The Duwamish River Community Coalition needs folks to submit comments on a proposal to increase the amount of tires that Ash Grove Cement would be allowed to burn in their production factory. Some may recall past community struggles to get the LaFarge Factory below Riverview to cease this practice which produced notable air particulate material and black dust on cars and surfaces in the area.
